Argentina vs Nigeria Live Stream: Watch the 2018 World Cup online for free

There’s a cracking game going on at the Krestovsky Stadium tonight, with surprise Group D strugglers Argentina set to take on Nigeria. Our guide reveals everything you need to know to watch the Argentina vs Nigeria game on TV and online – and best of all, it’s free! Plus, full Argentina vs Nigeria TV channel details, the kick-off time and more.

With all the hysteria that’s surrounded Argentina over the past few days, you could be forgiven for thinking they’d already been knocked out. They haven’t − not yet, anyway. La Albiceleste struggled badly in their first two games, and they need to defeat Nigeria and hope Iceland don’t beat Croatia, in order to progress to the Round of 16.

Star man Lionel Messi was anonymous in their last match − a deserved 3-0 loss at the hands of Croatia − after being harshly criticised for his performance in their draw against Iceland. Football fans everywhere (apart from Nigeria) will be desperate to see him at his best again, but his teammates need to seriously up their game if the two-time World Cup winners are to stand any chance of staying in the competition.

Nigeria, meanwhile, have had a strange campaign so far. A huge amount of hype (largely driven by their rather nifty-looking home shirt) surrounded the Super Eagles before their opening game, but that bubble well and truly burst during their opening game, a dismal 2-0 loss to a Croatia side that never really had to step out of first gear.

They bounced back, however, with an excellent win against Iceland, during which Leicester winger Ahmed Musa seemed to turn into Messi, scoring a pair of glorious goals, one on the half-volley after magnificently plucking the ball out of mid-air.

Whatever happens on the pitch, the atmosphere at the Krestovsky is guaranteed to be electric. The Nigeria and Argentina fans have been outstanding throughout this year’s tournament, and they’ll be on a different level tonight.

Without further ado, here’s how to tune into the game.
