Not the first time we hear from the Cyanogen and Google does not get along. As much as Google has created the Android platform, the Cyanogen has shown a distaste for several times with the North American company.
Now it seems, Microsoft is preparing the battlefield for perhaps a future war, “The general who chooses the battlefield wins the war.” Microsoft is undoubtedly the sow opportunities with an alleged investment 70 Million in Cyanogen.
According to The Wall Street Journal Microsoft invests in Cyanogen. This “small” startup that has raised 100 million dollars. The CEO of Cyanogen, Kirk McMaster recently said it wanted to “get the android Google”.
Although Microsoft and Cyanogen have no equipment or software in common we know that something may happen in the future. Being a free android platform, even this can prove to be the bane of Google.
Honestly I see welcome this investment, Microsoft has agreed that it looks like from the Windows 10 ads, and HoloLens.
Both Microsoft and the Cyanogen not responded to these rumors, but if they are true we have a “game changer” in the near future.
